The Mysterious Brother
Professor Poup put a dot in the end of a long equation that occupied an entire wall. The mathematical basis for his projector-reflector was ready. He also drew the layout of the device capable of reproducing ethereal objects in the material world.
According to the scientist's design, the emptyscope signal was transmitted to the convertor and then to the emitter cup. The cup itself should be fixed at a height to project a vivid, three-dimensional image onto the whole space below. His invention resembled the cinema, the difference being that it required no screen or the accompaniment of a hired pianist. Thanks to the special radiant amalgam, the waves of visual and acoustic range went directly to people's receptors, creating a full participation effect.
