“I’m sorry, Kali. I didn’t mean to be rude.” I sighed. “Do you think it’s safe for me to leave the cell yet?” She scanned me from head to toe and nodded.
“I don’t like this …” She waved her hands from my head to my toes and I sighed. Of course, she wouldn’t like it, but it’s not as if I had a choice.
