The Luna's Rebirth

Chapter 1

Jasmine POV

"Come on Jasmine, you can do it. The baby is almost out." I looked down at the nurse, disagreeing with her words.

I could not go any further than this. I had no strength inside of me and I felt the need to fall asleep.

"Just one push Jasmine, just one." The maiden urged me and I looked down at the nurses underneath my leg.

I must do this, for the Alpha and his wife the Luna Elena.

I closed my eyes and mustered ever single strength I had left inside of me, trying to force the baby out.

"He is almost here." I heard the maiden say and with one last push, I heard the sound of my child crying and I dropped back to the bed, trying to gather my strength.

"It's a baby boy Jasmine! The Luna will be so happy to find out." The maiden announced with excitement, as I watched my child being wrapped up in fine new clothings.

The door opened and Luna Elena stepped into the room with several of her maids. Our gaze met and she smirked, turning to the Maiden with the child, I watched in horror as her throat is slit by one of Elena's maid.

I dropped out of the bed, crawling my way forward to meet up with her. She was holding the child, ignoring my presence.

"Just like I have always wanted. Now the whole pack can shut their mouth up about me!" Elena said in excitement and turned to look at me. "And as for you, it is such a pity you won't be here to witness the boy grow."

I stared at the Luna in disbelief.

"I have done everything you required from me, I have served you fatefully and have delivered your child, please spare my life." I begged. I did not want to die, I have not even met my mate.

"You see dear Jasmine, I would have loved to spare your life, but there is something I want you to know that I have kept a secret from you all this time." She handed the baby over to one of the maid, and leaned down to meet my gaze.

"You actually have a mate and he is the Alpha King, my husband." My eyes widened in shock at the revelation from the Luna. "I know you are wondering why you never felt the mate bond. It is because I blocked it with a portion drink, the night you both were going to have s*x for this baby.

"But my Luna..."

"Quiet!" She ordered and my lips sealed itself. "I don't want to have any competition for my throne. Don't you know if I spare your life, you will become a threat to me? You have a child for your mate, everyone would look at you as the Luna. Where does that place me?" She asked in a loud voice.

"Please my Luna, my loyalty lies with you."

"No, I don't trust you enough." In a split second, I felt a sharp cut behind my neck and turned around to see one of the maids, holding a knife with blood splatter all over it.

"My regards to the goddess. Tell her we pray for her blessings." She said with a chuckle and stood up and grabbed the baby. "I am going to make him my son and teach him my ways."

My vision was blurry and the last thing I see before everything went dark is the Luna leaving the room with my child on her hands.

My eyes flew open and I find myself laying on a familiar King sized bed. I took in the environment and realized I was in the Alpha King's room.

What happened to me?

The door opened and Alpha Axel steps into the room all wrapped up in his towel. He looked at me with keen interest for a moment, and proceed to take a seat by the reading chair at the corner.

Again, the door opened and I gasped seeing Elena step into the room with a glass of wine. She laid eyes on me and had a scowl on her face.

"Here drink this, it should give you a boost in energy." She handed over the glass of wine to the Alpha, while her eyes were still on me

"Remember Jasmine, once the Alpha is done with you, i want you out of the room." She instructed and afterwards leave the room.

As soon as she leaves the room, I realized I had been reborn again. Another chance to correct my past and this time I am not going to waste it.

I turned to the Alpha and gasped, seeing he was close to drinking the wine from the glass. I dashed out of the bed and snatched the glass away from him.

"Are you out of your mind?" He asked, a growl making it's way to his lips.

"I am sorry Alpha, but you can't drink it." I said with my gaze down in respect. He grabbed my neck and pinned me to the wall. I managed to look at his eyes and realized his wolf had taken over.

"Tell me one good reason I should not snap your neck here and now?" He asked, and a growl left his lips.

"The...the drink is poison." I said through the grip, trying to catch any air I could take inside. He let go of his hands on my neck and I coughed out hard, trying to regain myself.

"Why would my own wife want to poison me? You must be really out of your mind young lady." He said and adjusted his towel. He grabbed his shirt and with one last look at me tried to leave the room, but stopped at the door.

"Since you say that my wife is trying to poison me, let us see how she feels about your comment." I gasped and trying to protest, but he was fast gone.

I may have just made my single mistake in the quest for revenge.
