"Stay together and go to the safe spot!" I whispered, quickly picking a lock to one of the cages in a dark alley, which was loaded with inslaved people.
As I watched them quickly rush away, I sighed with relief. "Your not one of us. Now are you?" I had jumped at the voice, quickly turning I was face to face with one of the invader soldiers. I quickly lowered my gaze.
"My apologies for leaving my post, I just discovered the humans escaped and was about to go after-" before I could finish my sentence, The invaders hand wrapped around my throat, and slammed me against a wall. I flinched, glancing up to see one of them.
Short black hair which was neatly styled, a tall slim frame, and red eyes, he wore glasses, which made him look slightly more... Human. I knew better, however. I knew he'd kill me in an instant. "I'd kill you, but I'm sure the leader would like to do the Honor himself, for a human as yourself.
I'm guessing your behind the rebellion, correct?" As I stared up at him, my hands gripping the hand which he kept tightly around my throat. I knew no matter what answer I gave, I'd be killed. So glaring at him, my eyes cold, avoid of fear, I nod. As quickly as that small nod was given, everything went black.
I wasn't dead. Not yet. I could feel the aching through my body, cold wind on my skin, I was unconscious. I assumed I'd still call it that, I was conscious, but I couldn't move, couldn't see, couldn't speak.
Maybe... Death was a simaler thing, darkness. I'd know soon enough how it really felt, I was sure of it. I never was aragant, I knew when I was out matched. I wouldn't go down without I fight though.
I'd die, leaving at least one permanent scar on that leader of theirs. That was my promise to myself. I refused to die until I left a mark. A mark he'd remember, that even if I didn't succeed in killing him, it'd be a reminder that one day... Someone else would.
Almost as fate had decided I'd had enough time to think, to decide what I'd do. I felt a massive rush to my heart, and quickly sat up, my eyes flooded with light, warmth around my skin, my breathing shallow.
Glancing around I noticed I was in a living room, I was on a couch near a fire in a dimly lit room. I felt a shiver down my spine despite the crackling warmth of the fire.
My mind a race of thoughts as I tried to decide, decide what I should do. Glancing around I tried to see an exit, or at least something I could use as a weapon for defense, when I heard a deep voice speak. A man's voice.
"If your searching for an exit you won't find it. This rooms doorless, my kind doesn't have doors, since we can telaport anywhere needed. So your completely trapped here human."
I jumped, quickly standing from the couch, when I turned around, I seen a man alright. He was muscular, standing well over 6'9. He had striking red eyes, his hair was a red blaze, messy and untamed, simaler to the look his eyes gave off. His arms were crossed, wearing low rising black jeans, as for a shirt.... He wasn't wearing one.
