The weeks passed slowly. Although I had only been there for around three months, it felt like I had been with him for a lifetime.
My wounds from that night healed, but they left scars behind. I feared Master Baekhyun like never before. I struggled to even look into his eyes, worried that they'd be red. He would drink from me until I passed out, and when I tried to resist, I was slapped. It may not sound that bad, but vampires are strong. Very strong. But at least he didn't take me to the basement again, and thank God for that.
One day, he left a note at the bottom of my chores list. It read:
Sir Sehun and his slave are dining with us tonight. I want this place spotless and you in your formal dress by the time I get home.
Master Baekhyun
Sir Sehun. His name rang a bell, and then, it hit me. He was one of the vampires from the dinner party; the one who looked as if he was ready to pounce when he saw me; the one who abused his slave horribly.
Why would Master Baekhyun invite him over here? It wouldn't surprise me if he did it just to spite me.
Whatever the reason was, I still needed to obey Master. I cleaned the house three times over to make sure it was up to his standards. When it got to around the time that Master would return home, I changed into my formal dress, which was a long sleeved black dress. It wasn't very show off-ish except for the cut in the dress that ran along my leg.
After awhile, Master Baekhyun arrived home accompanied by Sir Sehun and his slave, Cynthia. Cynthia was just as gaunt and pale as the day I first saw her, if not more so now. The already small red lace dress she wore hung loosely around her emaciated frame.
"Inell," Master Baekhyun instructed. "Lead our guests to the dining hall."
"Yes, Master," I replied and began leading them through the house. Sir Sehun walked beside me, and every once in awhile I could see him glance down at me, his eyes a deep red. It made me nervous to be around him. Once we were in the dining hall, I asked everyone what they would like to drink.
"B negative," Sir Sehun answered fairly quickly. Since he also got that type the last time I saw him, I concluded that it was probably his favorite. It also explained why he was so drawn to me.
"Type doesn't matter," Master Baekhyun told me. "Just make sure it's negative. It would also be nice if you mixed it with a bit of red wine."
"Yes, Master," I replied. I looked over at Cynthia and asked, "Would you like anything?"
"She doesn't get anything," Sir Sehun said so quickly that Cynthia didn't get a chance to even open her mouth to reply.
I nodded and went into the kitchen. The blood was constantly kept heated, so I didn't have to worry about that. I got two glass wine cups and filled them with B negative blood, making sure to add in some red wine for Master.
As I was walking into the dining room, however, I tripped over my long dress. Next thing I knew, I was laying on the ground with blood spattered on me and Master Baekhyun standing over me.
"You klutz," he spat at me. "Do you see what you've done? Look at this mess." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me to my feet. "Now, go into the kitchen, get a knife, and bring it out to me."
Tears formed in my eyes as I nodded my head and said, "Yes, Master."
I walked back into the kitchen, trembling the whole way. What was he planning on doing to me?
"It's probably in your best interest to get a sharp one," he called out to me.
I came back moments later with a sharp steak knife. He stuck his hand out, and I placed the knife in it.
"Give me one of your hands," he demanded. I have him my right hand. "So, Inell, since you ruined our guest's dinner, you will take its place."
He cut into my wrist with the knife. The knife may have been sharp, but it wasn't sharp enough. Blood poured out of my arm.
"Sehun," Master said. "Would you like to do the honors?"
I looked over at Cynthia, who was giving me a sympathetic look. Sehun, on the other hand, had a smirk plastered across his face.
"Gladly," Sehun responded.
He walked over to me and took my wrist. His eyes were blood red and his fangs extended. He licked his lips, right before he sunk his fangs into my arm. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths, trying to block out everything, but I just couldn't. I started feeling light headed and could barely keep my balance.
"That's enough, Sehun," Master Baekhyun told him. Reluctantly, Sehun released my arm, but what I saw when he pulled away terrified me. Usually, after a vampire is done feeding, their eyes go back to their regular color, but Sehun's were still the same blood red they were when he started.
"Take her to the living room," Master instructed Cynthia.
"Yes, Sir," she responded, taking my hand and leading me out of the room. When we got in the living room, she sat me down on the couch.
"How do you put up with that every day?" I weakly asked her.
"I don't know," she answered. "I just get use to it, I guess."
"Why..." I began, doing my best not to fall asleep. "Why were is eyes still red after he fed off me?"
"He's a young vampire," Cynthia answered. "While your master is probably a couple hundred years old, Sehun is only in his early twenties. He could feed and feed and never be satisfied. It's not that way with older vampires, though."
"W-Why-" I began before she stopped me.
"Shh," she said. "He took a lot of blood. You need to get some sleep."
I nodded my head and she left. After that, I fell into a deep sleep.
