Chapter Two

I just stared at him, which wasn't proper for a slave to do. He didn't look that abusive, but then again, looks are deceiving. "Get up!" Master Baekhyun commanded. When I stood up, he ripped the sticker from my dress. "Come on," he instructed. He began walking out of the building, and I followed him. He led me to his car. When I got in the front passenger's seat, he growled and told me to get in the back. I could tell right away that he was strict. The car ride was long and felt like it lasted forever. I noticed that every once in a while, Master Baekhyun would glance at me through the rear-view mirror, but for the most part I was just looking out the window at the world. A world that I might never see again. After awhile, we arrived at his house. It was the typical wealthy vampire house- a large three-story house made of stone bricks with large windows overlooking the landscape. He led me inside. The carpet was a deep shade of red, but the walls were beige in a very Victorian-like setup. A chandelier hung from the ceiling. Master Baekhyun then took me into the dining hall and began to explain everything to me. Really, it was just him telling me everything I wasn't suppose to do. "First of all," he began, sitting across from me at the wooden table. "You will be in the slave quarters by ten each night unless I have ordered you to do otherwise. You will also never enter my room unless I have ordered you to. Breaking either of these rules will result in punishment. Understood?" "Yes, master," I replied. "Do you have any questions?" he asked, which tipped me off to the fact that he wasn't a mind reader. If he was, he would have known if I had any questions, and I did. "How will I be serving you?" Master Baekhyun looked at me dead in the eyes. His eyes were a piercing black, making my brown eyes seem fair in comparison. I began to develop a newfound fear of him; he just seemed so intimidating. "You will mainly be working around the house," he said. I almost began to calm down, before he continued with his statement. "But when needed, I will use you as my blood slave. If you ever resist, you will be punished, and believe me," he sadistically chuckled. "I've had many slaves, and all of them have tried to resist me in the beginning. But eventually, they learned." "And Inell," He looked at me again. "You will too." I was at a loss for words. How was I suppose to respond to that? He had essentially just told me that he would break me, however long it took. "Oh," he continued. "And one more thing." Suddenly, my hands were slammed in front of me onto the table. I was unable to control them. "Great," I thought to myself. "He's telekinetic." Before I could even register that he was gone, he was standing intimidatingly behind me, showing off his inhumanly fast vampire speed. He placed his hands on my shoulders and whispered into my ear, "Don't go into the basement. Only bad girls go there." "Yes, Master," I sheepishly replied. I understood what he meant: the basement was for punishment. Suddenly, my wrists were freed. "With that said," he began as he walked away. "It's past ten o'clock. The slave quarters are on the second floor." I got up from the table and began to walk to the slave quarters. To get there, I had to walk up the long wooden staircase that led to the dark hallway of the second floor. The only light source was the full moon peeking through the windows. My bare feet glided along the soft red carpet as I made my way to the room.
