Chapter Eighteen

1340 Words
After that night, we left his parent's house and went back to our own. Life gradually went back to usual. Baekhyun went to work during the day and I cleaned the house. One day, however, everything changed. Baekhyun had invited LuHan and Suho over for dinner since they weren't able to attend the wedding. Everything was going great, until there was a knock at the door. Baekhyun answered the door, and outside stood none other than Xiumin, a smirk plastered across his face. "I don't believe I got the invite," he said before barging past Baekhyun and into the dinning hall. "Miss me?" "Xiumin, What are you doing?" Baekhyun growled. "Just visiting," he answered, taking Baekhyun's wine cup and drinking its contents. Then he glanced at me. His piercing gaze chilled me to the bone. "I wasn't informed that there would be a third guest," LuHan commented. "Neither was I," Baekhyun replied. "Xiumin, get out of my house." "Why?" Xiumin asked, almost sounding innocent. "I'm only paying the happy couple a visit. And besides," he glanced at our two guests. "I should be the least of your worries right now." "Okay," Baekhyun said, sounding more frustrated now. "Why did you really come here?" "Exactly why I said," he scoffed. "To crash a dinner party. And I'm sure Inell missed me." He looked over at me. "Right, sweetheart?" I shuttered at the sound of his voice. It sounded so innocent, but he only masked the evil that it truly held. "Get away from her," Baekhyun demanded. Xiumin only chuckled. "I'm not going to hurt her," he said as he caresses my cheek. "After all, we've already had our fun together." That sent Baekhyun over the edge. He grabbed Xiumin by his shirt, pinned him against the wall, and punched him in the nose. Blood began flowing out of Xiumin's nostrils, a telltale sign that his nose was broken. Xiumin wiped the blood from his nose. "I'll take that to mean you don't want my help." "No," Baekhyun answered through clenched teeth. "Get out." As Xiumin was walking out of the house, he turned around and said, "You will regret that decision, Baekhyun. For every moment for the rest of your pathetic existence, you will regret it." Even once he was gone, everyone just stared at the door in utter confusion. Everyone, except Suho, who I noticed was staring at me, but I brushed it off. "What was that about?" LuHan asked. "I have no idea," answered Suho, finally breaking his gaze on me. "What did he mean when he said he should be the least of your worries?" I asked Baekhyun. "I...I don't know," he said. "He wasn't here to harm any of us." Baekhyun looked over at Suho, LuHan, and me. "He almost inferred that I should be concerned about one of you three. Like you are going to betray me." He walked over to the edge of the table, his expression grim. "Let me make one thing clear: if I ever so much as suspect that one of you is going to betray me, there will be trouble. Understood?" We all nodded our heads. "Good," he said, his expression lightening. "Let us continue where we left off." Suho's P.O.V. Her skin. Her beautiful olive skin. I couldn't get it out of my mind. But those burn scares on her arms, I would need to fix those. I tried to get her out of my mind, but I couldn't. I even fixed some imperfections on my other slaves, but that didn't help either. I needed to fix her, and only her. In the morning, my eyes had turned red with desire. I had to get her. Now. I knew Baekhyun was off at work during the day, so that's when I'd strike. I filled the syringe with tranquilizer and headed out. I arrived at his house. Keeping my head down, I rang the doorbell. I knew that if she saw my red eyes, it might scare her, and I didn't want that. The door opened. "Suho?" she asked. That sweet voice of her's made me want her even more. "Hello, Inell," I greeted her. "Mind if I come in?" She hesitated before saying, "I'm sorry, Baekhyun's not home right now-" "I'm not looking for him," I said, raising my head and revealing my red eyes. Her eyes widened and she tried to close the door, but I easily forced it open again. She tried running away, put I caught her before she could even make it out of the room. I held her tightly and got the syringe from my jacket pocket. "Shhh," I said as I injected the tranquilizer into her neck. She soon fell limp. All the way home, she didn't wake up, which I was grateful for. Once we were home, I put her in her own room and chained her to the bed. Then, I went and took care of the other slaves. The first slave was Athena, and I'd had her the longest. Her hair was red and she used to have freckles all along her shoulders, which drove me insane. But I fixed that. Now in their place were scars, and that still drove me crazy, so I kept trying to fix them, but more scars just kept forming. I sat down on the edge of her bed, which woke her up. "Athena," I said. "You know that I love you, right?" "Y-Yes, Master," she weakly replied. I kissed her cheek, causing her to flinch. "Good." I moved to her lips, and as I was kissing her, I reached over to the nightstand and grabbed the knife, shoving if into her neck. She started choking and gasping for air. "Just look at me," I calmly told her as she bled out on the bed. "It'll be over soon." She took one last breath, and went limp. The next slave that I went to was Roxanne. Her skin was dark, but also scarred from her previous masters. I also tried to fix her, but as with Athena, more scars just formed. I didn't need to wake Roxanne up; she was already awake, just staring at the ceiling. I looked over her legs, which were missing large chucks of skin from the knees down. She tensed up when I sat down on the bed. I sighed. "Everything I did was to help you." "How does skinning me over and over again help me in any way?" she spat. "Just kill me already. Just put me out of my misery, Master." Showing no visible emotion, I reached over to the nightstand, took the knife, and shoved it into her heart. It was almost a relief to get rid of them. Now that I didn't have to deal with them, I could focus all of my attention on Inell. Suddenly, I heard a faint screaming coming from Inell's room. She was awake. I walked into her room and saw her struggling against the restraints. "Shhh," I said as I caressed her cheek. "What do you want with me?!" she cried out. "I just want to fix you, Inell." She paused for a moment, not understanding what I meant. "Fix me?" I ran my fingers along the mark on her neck. "These scars are imperfect. I want to make you perfect, so I need to get rid of them." She looked at me with horror in her eyes. "H-How?" I didn't respond to her, I just grabbed the knife sitting on the nightstand. "Stay still," I told her. She screamed and thrashed around as I cut into her. I pinned her down as best as I could and continued to cut off the scar. I repeated the process with the scars on her arms. By the end of it, she had three open wounds on her body, which I put medicine on, and I had three pieces of skin lying on the floor. "Why did you do that?" she asked between sobs. "Because I have to make you perfect."
