Chapter 10: A Charm from the SkiesI stumbled out of the Portal in Babylon and had to take a minute to steady myself. For some reason, each time I portaled to or from Terra, it seemed to take me a little bit longer to orient myself. Once I regained my equilibrium, I jogged through the silent corridors, until I finally felt the warmth of Nibiru’s sun and gratefully inhaled her sweet, clean air. Eden had a skimmer waiting for me outside of Babylon. I climbed in, pleased to find the coordinates to her city already programmed into the skimmer’s brain. “Welcome home, Jacob,” Eden said through the skimmer’s speakers. “Thank you. I’ve missed you and Nibiru.” I felt more alive here than I ever had on Terra. “And Zacharias? Did you miss him, too?” I couldn’t help smiling. “And Zack,” I agreed.
