Edgar returns to his room after meeting with Lane and find Daphne still lying on the bed but with her eyes opened, he hurried to sit next to her and check if she is in her right senses.
Daphne flinch when she see him come closer and open her mouth to defend herself again like she did earlier with Samantha but he place his finger on her lip to stop her from talking and use another pillow to guide her head.
“Is the pain unbearable?” he queried knowing how much it hurts and offer her some of the water on the desk.
