Senior Year
As the first day of my senior year approached, a wave of anticipation and excitement washed over me. I waited outside the school gates, feeling a sense of familiarity as well as delight for what the future held. Besides my excited thrill, Jordan beamed with infectious energy, her presence a constant reminder of the enduring power of friendship. This past summer, Jordan and I worked together and spent almost every weekend at each other's house, eating too much food, laughing, and talking about boys.
