Chapter Two: You are not my luna

1062 Words
DUE'S POV Two months later... "Hmmm... Ahh..." I heard a loud moan as I walked down the hallway, toward Fenrir's room. He had been away for days and I was eager to see him. However, as I got closer to the room, the moaning sounds intensified. "Ahh, Fenrir.... Tell me you love me." Those words flowed into my ears and I gasped. The voice sounded so familiar and for a moment, I was disoriented. "I love you! I love you, Aria, so much." I heard Fenrir say and I froze, in shock. For two months since we have been married, he never told me he loved me, even though I was his mate. The very thought of him loving someone else was heartbreaking enough. Added to that fact, the person he loved was my dearest stepsister. "Ahh..." I let out an incoherent tone as tears dropped down my eyes. I wanted to run away, but as I moved a step, I heard Aria's voice again. "You do not love Due, right? Who is she to you, anyway?" She asked, cunningly and I halted my steps. I was also curious about that question and I desperately wanted to know who I was to him. "Due is just a mistake brought into my life by the Moon Goddess. She is nothing to me." Fenrir's words reverberated through the air and through my ears. It felt like a thousand needles were cutting through my heart. After that humiliation at the altar, I did everything for him just to let him know that I loved him and he should love me back but I only get betrayal and heartache in return. I couldn't take it anymore! I couldn't and in the next second, I dashed into the room and fell directly to the ground, weakly. I couldn't even hold up anymore. "Why?" I screamed. "Why did you both do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this wickedness from you both?" I yelled before they could even realize that I had barged in on them. For a moment, they were shocked but Fenrir suddenly asked with an angry tone, "What are you doing here? Get out!" He yelled, in anger. "That is not what I'm asking you, Fenrir," I said as I pointed at him and then slowly stood upright. My eyes were red due to the pain and anger and I fought desperately to stop my tears but they didn't stop. "Why are you so cruel? I will become your Luna tomorrow and you had to sleep with that slut! Huh?" I thundered. Right, I was already Luna in name but I had to be introduced to the Pack officially and that was tomorrow. "I'm not a slut, you dimwit!" Aria's voice suddenly rang out, in anger as she sat upright on the bed. "If you did not push or force yourself on him two months ago, do you think this would happen? Huh? You caused this yourself, Due!" Aria added those words and as I looked at the adulterous couple on the bed, I realized that they felt no remorse for what they had done. "You want to be Luna so bad, huh?" Aria asked as she stood up from the bed in all her naked glory. I was shaking at this moment and I had no words or comeback to give her. "I am Luna and you should stay in your place!" I yelled back at her. The thought of leaving my position as Luna and my mate to Aria tortured me so much. "You are not my Luna! Do not delude yourself!" Fenrir suddenly yelled, in anger. It was like he detested the sound of me being called Luna. "You know what?" Aria suddenly asked and I looked at her with so much burning anger. "You should have lost your position, long ago! Do you wonder why you ended up in Fenrir's room, drugged? Huh?" She asked and I frowned. "What? How the f**k did you know I was drugged?" I asked. "It was all because I did it! I f*****g drugged you and I wanted you to get f****d by a common servant!" She said, through gritted teeth. At this point, I could see where her anger stemmed from two months ago. Her plans didn't work out the way she planned it. "What were you aiming to achieve, Aria? I never did anything wrong to you, did I?" I asked as a tear slipped from my eyes. I started to think about our interactions but I could fathom why. In the next second, she burst into a peal of mocking laughter and then said, "You know why? You will disappoint your father and fall from the position of the first daughter! Tell me why I shouldn't have all of father's wealth?" She asked and I gasped, in shock. I realized that all this was due to her greed and envy toward me. "You b***h! What did I ever do to you?" I yelled as I lunged toward Aria but before I could get to her, I felt a sudden force and I was pushed a few feet back. My body wobbled as I fell to the ground with a loud thud. Pain shot through my body and at the same time, Aria's mocking laughter resonated in the air. "Don't you dare touch her!" Fenrir said through gritted teeth. His eyes turned red for a moment and I could see his protective stance. It was obvious that his wolf was threatening to come out just to protect Aria. "Why? But I'm your mate, not her!" I yelled even after realizing that his wolf also hated me, just as he did. "Well, she is carrying my baby and you are not!" Fenrir dropped the bombshell and I froze. Later on, my eyes widened in shock as I looked at him. "You say what?" I asked, in disbelief as my heart thudded, uncontrollably. "She is carrying my baby! So, you should get lost!" He declared. "But.. but..." I tried to say something but he cut me off. "Don't question anything, Due! Aria had been my lover before you came into the picture! You were just a mistake." He said and this was the height of it all. I broke down, realizing that I had been deceived and humiliated to the core.
