THE INCIDENTS WITH THE DOG
As inevitably happens, whether people like it or not, time passed. More and more days elapsed between Rufio’s embarrassment, and Felix’s encounter with the Suburan thugs. However, try as they might to forget, the incidents lingered in their respective memories.
The weeks skittered by like dry leaves upon a frozen pond and, against great odds, the production began to shine with each passing day as every player achieved greater and greater comfort with his or her part.
Rufio especially enjoyed the scenes in which he and Clara performed together, in addition to those moments when they sat back to watch the others. When Clara was upon the stage, Rufio marvelled in silence, as though he had found a window to Olympus to which only he was privy.
