“You have to listen to me, OK? I know you don’t like to be told what to do, but if I ask you to go somewhere or do something you have to do it, for your own safety.”
Elizabeth nodded.
“I mean it Elizabeth. If he injures you, you will end up infected. I won’t be able to do anything to stop it,” he sounded serious, but also a little scared.
She went to him and hugged him tightly for a second before stepping back and looking into his eyes.
“I promise you; I will do what you say to stay safe.”
“And I promise you I will do everything it takes to keep you safe. Even if we lose out on getting that information.”
“We should go downstairs and get ready.”
He looked at her for a second more, then pulled her to him and kissed her as though he may never get the chance again.
