Elizabeth sank down into the hot water of the bath and closed her eyes. There were Bluetooth speakers throughout the cabin, and she took advantage of them to play music and help herself relax a little. After a few minutes she heard the door to the cabin go, and she realised that Sawyer had left. She stayed there for another twenty minutes after he had gone, scared that she would see something which terrified her if she came out too soon. She dried off and changed into comfortable clothes, before setting up her laptop in the bedroom. She chose to avoid the windows – as breath-taking as the view had been when they arrived, it was nothing more than scary to her now.
