The station was quiet in the early afternoon on a Friday. This was not where people were brought in so the reception only had a couple of people who were waiting to report minor crimes or had been called in for casual interviews. They approached the main reception. A rather bored looking man in a pale blue shirt looked past them for an inordinate amount of time. Eventually he looked at them, sighed, and asked them what they wanted. “I would like to talk to someone about Laura Harrison. She’s a missing 19-year-old.” “We don’t talk to people about cases unless they are directly involved. Are you related to Ms. Harrison?
