Chapter one

The venom test went by a LOT faster than she expected, but that was the least of her concerns. Anti-venom. That's what Bravure referred to, over and over again, like she was trying to refer to something, or someone, but that didn't concern her either. She, and Archer, they were going to have a LONG conversation. Archerione "Tirsynthe didn't take the venom test too well, did she?" "No, probably not. She didn't know that an Anti-venom existed to be born every millennial." "What were you trying to protect her from?" "You." He then realized just how bad he just screwed up. "Your secret. Your existence." Her face went from hurt to angry, then back to her aloof expression. "You understand, right?" She shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess." Knock. Knock. Knock. They both flinched. "Seonnyre, go." She nodded before dissipating out of his room. "It's open." An upset Tirsynthe walked into the room, stopping a few inches away from him. "When were you going to tell me about an Anti-venom?" "I was waiting for the right moment. I asked Bravure if he could remain silent until I gave him the word to break it to you slowly." She scoffed. "So all these years, thinking something was wrong with me-" "There was nothing wrong. Never has been, I promise." "You've promised a lot of things, how many were true?" He sighed. She scoffed."Good to know." She walked away, furious. Tirsynthe He lied. Made her wonder how much else he lied on. Archer neglected to tell her about Anti-venom, about Seonnyre, or the fact they'd been conversing behind her back. If that's all they were doing behind her back. Better be. Clearly, she couldn't trust them, but her mother was still out there, somewhere. Or, maybe her best bet would be to find Seonnyre. Stick with what you know. Which wasn't very much. Maybe she could reach her. Archer mentioned Seonnyre being an echosound. Or better known, mind reader, but so much more than that. Try reaching her mind. She waited several moments in silence, calling her name every so often. It wasn't working, not like she was hoping. Wait. Archer had told her not to let Seonnyre get inside her head, and that was exactly what needed to get done.
