Chapter 11: He Is Being Considerate

1015 Words
“It was no one,” I answered him. “I know you won't want me to hurt them. But trust me… If I ever find out who the asshole is, I would hurt them deeply… right before you.” He said, taking his hands down from the wall. And he walked out on me. The threat he just made wasn't referring to me, but I still got afraid. Why does Kael love hurting people so much? He finds the slightest reasons to hurt someone. I packed up my books and ran to the next class, Kael already wasted a bit of my time. >>>>>>>>>> I dreaded having to tutor Kael this evening. I wish they was a away he would stop bullying me - but that's too much of a dream for a girl like me. ~Knock, knock ~ He opened the door swiftly, he was shirtless, flaunting his muscular chest and well toned abs. I gulped at the sight of his body. Finding a little courage, I turned my back to him almost immediately. I heard him giggle a little. Did he find this funny? “Stop being childish Milky,” he said, still not turning my face to him. “Put on a shirt, Kael,” I murmured. “No I won't, It's my house, I could do whatever I want.” “You are making me uncomfortable,” I cooed. “Uncomfortable? No Milky, it's the other way round, I won't mind if you also take off your shirt.” His words were naughty. I could imagine the stupid grin on his face. Take off my shirt? “Kael?” “Alright… Alright, I will put on a shirt. You don’t need to take off your shirt.” I sighed in relief. Not like I was planning to take off my shirt, just glad that he is back to his right senses. I settled on the porch and I arranged the books and textbooks needed, waiting for Kael. Kael didn't waste time before coming down, he wore a plain white T-shirt which fitted him nicely, but I could still see flashes of him being shirtless in my head. Damn Akira! Stop being nasty. He settled beside me and he did something I didn't expect - he removed my glasses. “Kael?” “I like seeing your eyes without the lenses, something about it intrigues me.” “They are intelligent eyes,” I can't believe I just said that. “Yes they are,” he chuckled a little. “Alright let's get to business.” I quickly turned the pages of the textbooks. “She is feisty now,” Kael joked. I started explaining every equation in the paper to him, and like always, he got it without me having to bother myself. I have a strange feeling inside me; I feel like something about the relationship between Kael and I has changed, he is still being mean to me, but he obliges to all my requests, something he never does- Kael always loved doing things his way. “I got it right? Milky? I got it? Milkyyyy?” He called to my attention. I got lost in my train of thoughts for a moment there. “Yeah… yeah… you got it,” I muttered. He stared at me, his eyes filled with questions. “What were you thinking about?” “I wasn't thinking…” “What did I tell you about lying to me?” My mouth opened a little, I couldn't find the right words to say. “Talk to me,” his voice was softer than ever. Something I could not fathom flashed in his eyes. Was it worry? Or sincerity? Is he really interested in knowing what's wrong with me? “Sorry I kinda blacked out, I am fine Kael,” I said, hoping he won't bother me with more questions. “Alright. But don't black out again, I don't like you being like that.” And there goes his confusing words again. He doesn't like me being like that? “I guess we are all done for today.” I stood to my feet, packing the books. “Yeah,” he also stood to his feet. I arranged the books into my backpack and turned to leave. “Milky?” He called. “Yes,” I turned to him. “Can we have tutoring sessions at your place tomorrow?” At my place? My house isn't a suitable place for someone like Kael Blackwood. Why is he even changing locations? I scratched my hair in confusion. “Just thought… since we are helping each other out, we could do it both ways,” he stated his reasons. We are helping each other out? These words aren't the words that should be coming from the Kael I knew. “Ohh… alright.” “See ya at your place tomorrow,” he smiled. Even the smile is creepy; not exactly what I mean- Kael smile is really cute. But the way he is smiling more often is a little creepy. I don't like the way things are turning out. I preferred the mean, indifferent Kael much better. While walking home, I couldn't brush off the feeling that I was being watched, I could feel faint stares on me, but I did not see anyone. I fastened my steps, feeling a little glad that Kael's house wasn't far from mine. I felt a little relieved as I walked into my house. My mom still wasn't back from work. How do I make her stop working late hours? This is causing her to get sick often. I already told her about tutoring Kael, but she didn't resist from working late nights. I laid on my bed, recalling the event of the day. Kael being considerate is bothering me a little, but I didn't think much about it. It should be a good thing that he is beginning to change his ways. A faint smile appeared on my face. ‘They are intelligent eyes.’ I smiled into my pillow.
