"What the f**k!" We both heard
We both looked at my mom with wide eyes, and I just stood there while Shawn went to her side trying to talk to her
"Baby-"
"Don't Baby me Shawn!" My mom yelled with tears in her eyes "you love her don't you?!"
"No baby I swear!" He yelled out to her
"Then why the hell you take her to that restaurant?!"
"She wanted food, and she paid for hers while I paid for mines!" He said which was a lie because he wouldn't let me
"So that's an expensive ass restaurant! You never take me there!"
"She paid for her own food!"
"But you don't take me there!" She yelled at him
"I know baby..." he sighed
"Y'all kissed right in front of me!"
"I'm sorry it was just a mistake! She came onto me! I don't love her!" He yelled out then he looked at me "right bey."
At that moment all I thought was 'it's now or never'
"Yea Ma Im sorry we went to that restaurant and their alcohol was strong I just had too much to drink I'm sorry." I said with tears in my eyes and my head down
I was gonna lay everything out on the table but looking in my mothers eyes and seeing how hurt she was put everything into perspective.
"I promise I won't drink anymore...I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have a headache soon." I lied I didn't have not one ounce of alcohol in my system.
"Beyoncé! I told you that you wouldn't be able to handle your liquor!" She told me
"I know and I'm sorry..." I told her with my head down
I turned around and finished cooking while my mom walked past me to go to the backyard
Shawn walked up to me and he tried to apologize
"Baby-"
"Nah Shawn save it! You just threw me under the bus like that!" I whispered to him
He sighed and looked to see if she was coming but I guess she wasn't because he tried to kiss my forehead but I moved my head away from him.
Once I was done cooking I went downstairs to 'our room' and began packing my clothes.
In the middle of me packing my clothes Shawn walked down and grabbed my waist. I sighed as tears ran down my face again.
He turned me around and kissed my tears away but they just kept flowing.
"I'm sorry" he whispered
"No Shawn why would you do that?!" I cried as he held me
I didnt have the strength to fight him off so I let him hold me.
"Baby you know i love you, and you know that!" He told me
I shook my head vigorously
"You don't Shawn what we had was a mistake remember?"
"Baby-"
"Shawn why? Huh that could have been your free card to break up with her! This could have been your chance!"
"I know baby." He told me
"You know what that mean?" I asked him
"What?"
"It means you still love her." I told him and got out of his grip.
"What!"
"Shawn come on don't deny it. You still love her and that's ok." I told him with a sigh
"I just wish you didn't let me fall in love with you for it to come out that you still love someone else." I told him with tears in my eyes
He sighed and tried to walk up to me but I backed up.
"Please just let me pack up my s**t so I can go."
He sighed and backed away and I finished packing my stuff

As I sat in the backyard I thought about everything that accrued today.
I called my long time friend Richard, and began venting with him.
(Phone conversation)
"Hey Baby."
"Hey Rich!"
"What's wrong baby?"
"I just saw Shawn and my daughter in the kitchen kissing."
"Damn you for real?"
"Yea...I don't know they said she was drunk but she didn't seem like it"
"She probably sobered up when you caught them."
"Yea I guess...I'm not sure though because I think I saw him holding her waist he looked so into the kiss."
"You sure T?"
"I don't know."
"Look imma be there in about an hour. Imma see you then ok?"
"Yea bye."
(End of conversation)
I got up, and went to the kitchen, and began to fix Shawn and I's plate. But Bey was in there already doing it. She was fixing mines, Shawns, and solo's plate.
"Hello Beyoncé." I spoke to my eldest
"Hey." She mumbled
"Hey." I said picking her chin up "I know you feel guilty but don't ok you remember Richard? He's gonna come over and settle everything ok?"
"Yea I guess." She said
There must be more then that, or more than what was said. Most likely Shawn talked and didn't let her talk. What if something really was going on between them?
There was a knock on the door, then it opened, and it was Richard.
"I thought you said an hour." I said as I hugged him
"Yea I forgot you moved in with him so I was closer than I thought.
I nodded my head and blushed as as I thought of Shawn.
Shawn came upstairs, and we all sat on the couch just as Solo walked in. She saw what was going on, and went right up.
I heard Bey giggle, as she ran up there, and she looked down at her phone, then glanced at the steps.
I finally got a good look at her and it looked like she had been crying. Something definitely happened
"Ok so where do we start?" I asked
"Well Shawn I wanna know what happened." Richard began
"I don't know...like we made a schedule that, when Bey, and Solo got out of school they go to my office, and go home with me. But Bey wanted food. She picked out what restaurant she wanted. I guess T was following us I don't really know. But she paid for her food. Bey had a little too much to drink and she was drunk. We got here and she began cooking dinner or whatever-"
"What do you mean doing whatever?" Rich asked him
"Cooking dinner and whatever else she was doing...." he said and we nodded while Bey just looked down, and cuddled with her fingers
"Continue." I said
"Then I went to the refrigerator, and she just began talking I was kinda paying attention but not enough to know or understand what she was really talking about...then I turned around, and she just pushed me, and kissed me then T walked in." He said
Bey sighed, and she began to mumble to herself
"It's coming back it's coming back it's coming back-"
"Bey sweetheart, are you ok?" I asked as I kneeled in front of her
"It's coming back-"
"Baby what's coming back?" I asked
She looked up at me, and sighed shaking her head "nothing Ma...nothing important."
I looked at her confused, and sat back down as she kept mumbling 'it's coming back'. After that Solo came running down, and sat next to Bey as tears streamed down her face, and Solo wrapped her arms around her.
"Bey.." Richard said after she calmed down
She sighed and began talking when Solo was back upstairs
"It's nothing to add to what he said. It's true I just had too much to drink. I will stay away from alcohol, and liquor... I'm sorry I didn't mean to get that intoxicated. I promise you it won't happen again."
"Your lying." I said to her
"I'm not lying."
"Then How come you won't look me in the eye?"
"Because I'm too ashamed Ma. I just kissed my step dad...like you telling me if you kissed your stepdad you wouldn't be ashamed?!"
"Ok I guess your right."
"Beyonce." Richard called
She looked up at him
"You sure that's what happened?" He asked
"Yea." She said looking in my eye, and his also but I knew something was up.
"Alright well Shawn have you ever had feelings for Bey?"

He's gonna lie. Or maybe he never really loved me the way he said and it was all a joke. Who knows but I know what's gonna come out will either hurt me, or my mom, and honestly I'm not ready for neither.
He sighed and shook his head. "Yea I did..." he began "but that's was before I got with T. Then I found out that's was T's daughter so I wasn't gonna push it."
"Oh ok." He said
"Well honestly it's all settled I'm gonna get out of y'all hair I'll see y'all later." Richard said
"Bye!" We all said as man gave him a hug, and Shawn gave him dap. Then he left
I got up, and began to clean the kitchen.
