It was about an hour drive to my jewelers, but it was well worth it. Amina fell asleep about thirty minutes ago. She looks like an angel and even snores cute.
I pulled into the parking lot and turned the car off.
I ran my fingers through her messy curls, waking her up.
“Rise and shine mi amor.”
She yawned out, stretching her arms in the air.
“Where are we?” She asked out sleepily, rubbing her eyes
“Still a surprise.” I laughed out softly
She grunted out as she got out of the car, making me do the same.
I walked around the car, meeting Amina. I picked her up, carrying her in my arms. I knew her leg was bothering her, but she was too independent and stubborn to say anything.
“You don’t have to carry me.” She said out softly as she snuggled her head into my neck
