My eyes fluttered open as my body was shaken roughly. As my eyes adjusted to all the smoke around me, the sound of gun shots sounded out, waking me up right away.
I sat up feeling like s**t, but I was shoved down by Lorenzo as a bullet hit the car that was shielding us.
“Stay down!” He yelled out, firing back at our enemies
I started to panic, feeling my breathing becoming erratic.
I peaked around the car, watching Santiago and Rio’s men shoot at us. Some lay dead on the floor as two of the vehicles burned up in flames.
“We need to go!” I yelled out through all the gun fire
I got to my feet, crouching down behind our car. I pulled the keys out of my pocket, ready to jump in and start it.
Hopefully it still ran with all of the damage these bullet holes have caused.
