Undercover Enemy

1884 Words

My eyes opened to the sound of a knock at my door. I looked around and saw that it was night by now. I could see the dark cloudy sky out from my huge widow that sat across the room. Another knock sounded out, making me sit up in bed. “Come in!” I yelled out, clearing my dry throat I reached over and grabbed my glass of water, taking a sip. I sat it back down as my door opened up, revealing Micheal, my physical therapist. I was confused to say the least. It was late, he should’ve been off work by now. “Hey Amina, sorry for disturbing your sleep.” He said out nicely as he closed the door behind him “It’s okay, I have all day to sleep.” He chucked out at my words, standing there awkwardly. “I know you’re probably confused as to why I’m here.” “Uh yeah, something like that.”
