Garrett's POV

I'm woken up to my beta mindlinking me "Alpha rogues on the east boarder looks like a couple kids" " on my way beta" I get out of bed and head towards my balcony in just my underwear. No need to get clothes when I'm just going to shift. I jump down and shift to Dominic before hitting the ground, Dominic is a beast of a wolf normally alpha wolves are 6 feet from the top of their head to their paws but Dom is 7 feet and he is completely black which I have never seen in a wolf. There are some black wolves, but they always have other colors, but Dom is pitch black with blue undertones. He is magnificent, and he knows it. "There is nothing wrong with me being confident, Garrett. I'm a handsome wolf and proud. Mate will love how good I look. " I bark out a laugh and start running towards the east border. When I reach the territory line I see two small wolves laying on their stomachs with my warriors surrounding them, I mind link Marcus to find out what's going on "Marcus why aren't they shifted back yet" "I tried alpha I don't think they now how so we were waiting for you they look like newly shifted kids" I look over at the wolves and he is right they are too small to be fully grown and they are shaking but keeping their heads down and to the side submitting to us. I shift back to my human form and put on a pair of basketball shorts. " Do you guys know how to shift back to human form?" I'm asking in a gentle tone so I don't scare them, I wait for them to give me an answer and when they shake their heads no I sit in front of them so I am not looking down on them. " Okay, you can look at me." When they look up I continue "you need to think of your human form, your hair color, height, just think of what you look like and you'll shift back" I watch as they both begin to shake and shift back and am surprised to see twin boys in front of me, probably no older then 14. "Can you tell me why you are here?" They look at each other obviously have a conversation when they boy on the right answers "we were born rouges but our mom was killed and out dad just ran off after that so we started walking we shifted last night but our wolves are weak so we just kept walking in wolf form your pack is the first one that didn't try to kill us on the spot alpha" I see nothing but honesty in his eyes and it makes me feel bad for them that they we by themselves for their shift. Linking Marcus I ask him to take them back "Marcus take them to the packhouse get them cleaned and fed and a room we can deal with it more when we get back from RedRock" "Yes Alpha". I get up to leave and hear Marcus tell the boys to come with him. I can hear them crying thanking him, and I smile. It's always sad when the rouges are kids just trying to find a safe place. "Alpha, you are scheduled to leave for RedRock in an hour. The warriors and cars are ready to go when you are," my gamma Leo mindlinks me. Leo is staying behind while Marcus and i got to the Alpha ceremony so he can watch over the pack in my absence. "Thank you, Leo. I think we will leave early and surprise them. I want to see if this boy is worth having an alliance with." "Yes Alpha". I'm smiling when I walk into the kitchen until I feel hands snake around my waist, I was too caught up in my thoughts to notice her behind me. "Alpha, you have a long drive today. Why don't you let me help you relax?" Sasha purrs behind me while scratching her nails on my abs. I pull her hands off me and turn around she smiles at me like she won the best prize. Dom is growling in my head, he hates Sasha and how persistent she is when she is trying to f**k me. "Sasha I told you multiple times you are never going to be invited to my bed. If you approach me like this again you will be punished" her smile drops and she huffs at me like she is a toddler before turning to stomp away. "That girl is very persistent isn't she" I smile at the sound of my moms voice and whip around to face her " mom how are you?" I ask while giving her a hug " I'm good boy. I just wanted to come and say goodbye and to tell you I hope you meet your mate" she's smiling and I now she is getting impatient that I haven't found my mate and to he honest so am I. I want my mate and to have pups so being 24 without her still is frustrating. "I hope I find her too mom. I have to go get ready but I will see you when I get back" I kiss her cheek and head towards my room to get dressed. "Dom what do you think. Think we will find her this time?" " I hope so Garrett" he sounds so down when we talk about our mate which is understandable, maybe mom is right maybe we will find her at RedRock.
