Eden's POV

It's the day of Jackson's party, and everyone is running around trying to get everything finished before it starts. "EDEN," Cindy yells while stomping into the kitchen where I'm preparing the feast. " I told you to iron my dress. Does this look ironed?" she holds up her dress that looks perfectly pressed. "I'm sorry, Cindy, I ironed it yesterday." "Ugh, stop lying. Look at this. It is unacceptable for the future luna to wear a dress that looks like this, " she screams while pointing at a little rinckle at the bottom of the dress. "Funture luna, my furry tail, she can't even beat the omegas while sparring." Luna is laughing while she talks, and I have to hold in my own laugh. " I'll go fix it right now, cindy." she throws the dress at me right when Jackson walks in the kitchen. " Babe, what's wrong? Why are you yelling?"This useless girl ruined my dress she needs to fix it before the party starts!" Jackson glares at me while growling." How dare you ruin Cindy's dress! It better be perfect for her before the party, or you will be whipped for the pack to see!" I scurry off to fix the dress right away. He always threatens me with a whipping even though we both know his parents wouldn't let him. The party starts in ten minutes I'm walking up from the basement when I smell the most delicious sent " mate mate mate" Luna is screaming in my head, I guess I'm officially 20 years old. I keep walking up the stairs bit before I get to the door it's thrown open, and standing there is Jackson he is staring right at me, but he looks mad. "No! There's no way you're my mate. He's growling now and Luna is whimpering softly "how could the moon goddess give me a wolfless weak mate I'm an alpha the strongest member there is I can't have you as a luna" I'm still staring at him completely stunned, when I don't say anything he starts stalking down the stairs and I start going back down them. His eyes are shifting from his normal hazel to a glowing amber, showing his wolf trying to come out. "I don't want you. You are worthless and will never be good enough to be luna." When I try to talk, he grabs my throat and squeezes until I can't breathe. " I Jackson King, future Alpha of the RedRock Pack reject you Eden Royal as my mate and Luna" he let's go of my throat when he is finished and I drop to the floor in pain.
