“I hate to ruin the fun,” my sister’s voice echoed in my mind, a jarring contrast to our playful banter with Calista, “but Amaris found something demonic happening in the ocean.”
"What exactly is going on with the ocean?" I asked.
"It's best you all return to the palace," she replied.
"I'll tell everyone," I responded, my heart pounding in my chest as I quickly shifted back to my human form, startling Calista a little.
