I was full and I was drunk but I loved Hunter’s family. They were good people. Leah was the cutest. Once she heard the story of me punching Hunter in the face, she was ready to take boxing lessons. His parents had this undeniable love. You could tell Diane had Jason wrapped around her finger.
It made me miss my parents. I haven’t spoken to them since I came out of the hospital. I’m ashamed of the way I treated them and the way I acted. They raised me better. They raised me to be strong and the first opportunity I had to prove it-- I ended up with a psycho who beat me. I feel like I let them down and that’s a hard pill to swallow. I know I have to be a big girl and call them. I miss them like crazy and I know they miss me too.
