I woke up to an empty bed. Hunter had to leave early for a meeting and he was going to be busy pretty much the whole day. Which was totally fine with me because today will be my first day working at Sandy’s. I can’t lie, I'm pretty excited. I hopped out of bed and walked to the window. I could tell it was a beautiful day by the warmth of the sun rays shining through the glass.
It had been a little over a week since the whole debacle with Laura. Neither her or Cole had made any noise recently, which I guess should be a good thing but I know better. I know this is just the calm before the storm. His evil twisted mind is no doubt plotting something horrific and I’m tired of just being a sitting duck waiting for him to strike.
