Hiraya My hands were working on their own as I put some words into my drawing. I was sketching non-stop and didn’t stop writing the details of the medicinal plants after dinner. I didn’t mind if I was only using the oil lamp as light. I had a fun lunch with Bughaw, the maidens, and the warriors. It was the first time that I was able to enjoy a meal with other people. I was treated not as a haliya but as an equal. Even Bughaw gets to laugh a lot about their antics. I felt normal. Ordinary. The food tasted great. There were no judging eyes watching my every move and would tell me how a haliya should chew or how I should not laugh loud. Even Bughaw who was usually timid and shy was able to joke and tell stories with everyone. After lunch, I was lulled into sleep and slept on the hammo
