My eyes roved to take in the mirrors. There were many on each of the walls creating the odd multiple images of everything. There I was in a large bed multiplied across the seemingly endless room. Then, something moved in the corner of the mirror. Startled, I watched, fascinated by the wispy white thing unfurling. Mesmerized, I couldn't look away. Two pink eyes looked out at me with red—not black—pupils. “I have asked for someone to bring you something to eat. I asked for something…” Vasyl's voice faded as he strode back into the room.
