Celine has joined Fi and Sammy in the basement of the guest-house, having expected more of what she and Nate had done yesterday. She was not prepared. Fi paces in front of her as Celine sits on the bench and pays close attention to her, she turns to Celine,
“Okay, so we need to give you a crash course in self-defence, with a bit of offence. But we are more concerned with you being able to stop someone from taking you than winning a fight. You have four very capable warriors standing with you. Sammy will be your sparring partner, and I will try and teach you how to hold her off.” Sammy was standing on the mats, and beckons Celine over to stand in front of her. Sammy smiles at her,
