“Do you want to grab something to eat? I know a very nice burger joint here?”
Erica asked, Sarah looking at her.
“Sure.” she said, “I’d love to.”
They found a nearby burger shop and settled into a table in the corner. The smell of freshly done burger filled the air, and the sound of coffee machine gruggling and steaming filled the silence.
Erica felt like asking away the questions that were going through her mind but she tried as much as possible not to.
“So Erica, what’s your relationship with Sebastian?” Sarah asked, breaking the silence between them.
Erica wondered if she suspected anything between herself and Professor Sebastian.
“He’s my professor.” Erica replied, keeping her voice neutral.
“As I told you before, I’m taking his class.”
“Oh….” Sarah said, as she nodded slowly.
