Quinn dozed off for a while, and she woke up to the hunger pangs that assailed her. She sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing her eyes as she stared out her wide-open bedroom window; outside, there looked dark due to the thick black cloud hanging over the sky. It hadn't rained yet, but the rumbling of thunder in the distance could already be heard somewhat loudly. She got out of bed and closed the window and balcony door.
