Sly gently carried me up the stairs. “Are you okay?” Sly asked.
I nodded, too tired to speak.
“I will run you a bath once we get to the room. It will help you relax, and you will sleep well after the warm bath.”
I gave him a small smile and nodded.
I was so glad that Sly carried me back to the house because I wouldn't have been able to walk to the house myself. It felt like I fought a hundred people alone.
