DALIA'S POV
It felt unfair; it felt like everything I knew about my life was all a lie. The people I thought were my parents weren't actually my parents. The life I knew up until now was all a lie. I couldn't understand why I had to go through all the pain I went through in my life only to now find out that it was all for nothing, all a lie.
I sat on the ground resting against a tree as I thought about everything. I felt numb; I felt sick to my stomach.
“Here you are; I have been looking for you,” Sly said beside me,
“I want to be left alone. I thought you understood that.”
“I did. That was why I stopped Xander from coming after you,” he replied.
“So why are you here? If you understood that I want to be alone, you wouldn't be here right now.”
