XANDER'S POV
As dusk came upon us, we started searching for a place to camp for the night. After searching for awhile, we finally found a clearing and decided to rest there for the night.
We all dropped our bags, and Sly made a little fire. We sat around it and made small talk. The forest was still safe for little sounds coming from the breeze moving the leaves on the trees.
My neck turned sharply at the subtle sound of the ruffling leaves. My eyes scanned the area, but there was nothing.
