DALIA'S POV
After the failed attempt at meeting my parents, we returned to the pack with everything we had gone there with us to give to them. I immediately went upstairs and got in bed, cuddling with their picture in my arms. At some point, Lexi and Jules joined me, and at some point they left, and Sly and Xander joined me. I didn't move or leave the bed. I am not sure when sleep took me, but I woke up without the twins by my side.
I picked up my phone from the side table and checked the time. It made sense why no light was peeking through the curtains. It was still pretty early, and it was unlike me to be up this early because I hated waking up too early. As I moved to get out of bed, my hand hit the bedside table.
