Carly's POV
After Joseph had declared that I was Jax's witch Princess, I half expected everyone to shout insults at me, but everyone actually stood up from their seats and applauded. There were cheers and whistles from everyone and the acoustics in the room just made it to where the sound was nearly deafening. I could feel my own spirits rising at all the show of support from people who didn't even know who I was. Jax was beaming proudly beside me and he pulled me up so that we were standing up and the crowd erupted into a new wave of applause. I smiled too, the happiness of everyone in the room was infectious and welcoming.
