Leaving Carly behind in the room for the first time since we came back after what had happened, it still felt so soon, and I had such a hard time leaving her. Everything in me was screaming to go back in there and bundle her up in my arms and never let go ever again. But, I needed to have this conversation with my parents, and make sure that they knew that they shouldn't go easy on my siblings just because they were family. I'd give them my own version of a punishment if I could, but I knew that it would be frowned upon by everyone.
