Everyone but Joseph and Vera had shown up already, they were always supposed to come in last. When Jax and I walked in and were announced as the crowned Prince and Princess, butterflies danced in my stomach, but I kept my face neutral as we walked to the large table and sat side-by-side to wait for Joseph and Vera to arrive so that we could begin.
Minutes later, they were announced and they took their seats next to us, and the meeting was in session.
