Carly's POV
When I woke up, I felt much better. The headache had cleared with the help of the crystal Carlotta gave me. I lay there on my side and fiddled with it some more. It was like I could feel the energy in it through my fingertips, which was a new sensation to me. I could feel the calm and healing power of it. It was a weird sensation. I was a lost witch. I didn't realize that I had any powers whatsoever, but now that the headache had faded, I was able to actually sense it in this crystal.
I was alone in bed, Jax had gotten up and was currently in the bathroom while I experimented with the tiny object in my hand. I sat it on the bed for a moment, the sensation receded, and when I picked it back up I could feel it again. Cool, I thought to myself. I'd never touched crystals before,
