Jax's POV Taking Carly to my favorite thinking place had turned out to be much better than I thought it would be. The pure joy that shone on her beautiful face when she'd first seen the waterfall was absolutely worth the hour of travel time to get there. I was glad that I got to share it with her, and hoped that we'd make more trips there occasionally. I loved seeing her reactions to everything, but especially the cave under the waterfall where the different colors of the amethyst crystals were reflected on her face and in her eyes. I knew immediately that that color was very complementary to her.
