Carly's POV
I looked in the mirror at my attire for the ball that was in an hour. The dress I had on was an A-line style, it was dark purple with blood red laces to hold the corset part together and they also went up my arms in the same design-like pattern as the corset. My hair was curled and flowing heavily down around my shoulders and back. My make-up was a smokey eye with dark brown, almost black, and sparkly gold eye shadow, and I also had on blood red lipstick.
I looked spooky and like, well...like royalty.
Jax had told me that each supernatural species, with their own royals, had their own specific colors to identify themselves with. Dark purple for vampires, emerald green for werewolves, shapeshifters are royal blue, and for witches it's blood red.
