The next couple of days flew by so quickly, and it was almost time for Jax to go back to the army base for a couple of days to oversee everything; Nathan had left this morning to head up there to calm them down some before Jax showed up.
I was barely keeping myself together; not only was my anxiety showing its ugly head about being left alone and I was also worried about his safety, but my feelings for him grew significantly and I wasn't sure I could stand not being able to be next to him to sleep soundly at night.
