Jada's POV
I growled as I slammed the door to my father's office shut behind me. I can't believe that he was letting Jax get away with being mates with that dirty human. I stormed my way through the castle over to Jared's room; I needed some support on what I was planning on doing about the little rat.
Jax has always been a little lenient when it came to humans and their treatment, but Jared and I knew exactly what they were to be used for and that was their blood and using them to serve under us, and whatever else we decided to use them for as well.
The brat that Jax stole from me was the best at what she was supposed to do and I hated her for it. Not to mention, that for a human, she was exceptionally beautiful, not that I'd admit that out loud to anyone...I rolled my eyes as I knocked on the door and barged in. I made myself at home while Jared finished with his little human play toy; her screams and whimpers of pain and terror as he took her body were ringing through the sound-proofed room.
I poured myself a glass of wine and sipped it as he finished his business. When he walked out, he was pulling on his shirt, "What brings you by, little sister?" He asked as he nonchalantly poured his own glass of bourbon and leaned against the counter.
"I need your help with something."
Instantly intrigued, like I knew he would be, he nodded, "Tell me."
I immediately went into giving him the details of my woes, him nodding along as he knew of the slave I spoke of, before telling him of my plans to get rid of her.
"You know he will lose his mind once we kill her, right?" He asked, his brows furrowed in deep thought. We both knew that once a vampire found their mate, they were immediately linked forever, even before they shared blood to intensify their bond. Losing their fated mate is basically like a death sentence to the other. But, I was so angry with both of them that I did not care what would happen to my brother, I just wanted her out of the picture. Jared was less inclined to kill our brother, but he didn't care about what happened to the human. He may be closer in age to Jax, but he almost always sided with me when it came to matters of the humans.
I nodded, "Semantics, big brother, he'll be fine and we can find a pretty vampire to mate him with afterwards. I want her gone; she's caused too much trouble for me her entire life and I'm done with her."
He shrugged, "Alright. I'm in, but we'll have to be behind the scenes. I don't want him coming after me because of a stupid human. I'll get some people together to do it."
I gave him a victorious smile, "Thank you, brother. Let me know when everything is ready."
"I will," he returned with a sinister grin. "Now get out of here, I have some business to attend to." Whether it was to go back to tormenting his human or to start on our plan, I didn't know and I wasn't going to ask.
I finished my wine and nodded, "I'll leave you to it then. See you late." I left the room, confident that Jared would do as I asked and I would soon be rid of the girl my brother chose over his own blood. The plan would go perfectly and all my troubles would be over. I couldn't wait!
