In the second half the whole team presented their best efforts and used teamwork. The defenders blocked the ball every time the opponents brought the ball near the goal post. The mid fielders redirected the ball towards Leo and Chase who were the top strikers.
The second half is almost gone and the opponents have not scored a single goal while we are now leading with five goals.
The whistle blows indicating time is up and the crowd cheers.
“Yes!! They did it.” Suzie cheers.
Suzie was definitely doubting we would win this game at half time, but after Leo and Chase scored the last two goals and the other team was blocked from scoring, she believed we would win and we have.
The whistle blows again and the referee announces added time.
“What more time!” Kristen says angrily.
