When Chase told me about the trip to Winthrop, I was excited because I need a break from campus. All I thought about was surfing, Mateo and I enjoy surfing a lot and the waves are amazing this time of the year.
And then he told me Kristen had invited her friends and that meant Maria and another girl were joining us. For a second, I wasn’t up for the trip anymore. Why would anyone want to be in the same room with someone that despises them?
Kristen was in our room last night pleading that I go on the trip still. Maria is a cool girl, but she has made it clear that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me. So even though I have agreed to go on this trip, I will give her that space.
