Chapter 36Sienna zipped up her purple hoodie outside of the hospital. Carter lifted his bike and put it in the back of her truck. He wanted to call ahead to tell Mondo he was on his way and have Tina meet him there. Sienna said that wasn’t necessary.
“Are you sure you want to go now?” he asked her. “Wouldn’t want to waste your time if they’re not there.”
“They are,” she quietly assured.
They drove to Mondo’s house. Carter was surprised that he didn’t need to direct her to find it.
Carter entered the lab alone and discovered she was right. Mondo, Fizzy, and Tina were all present. Carter hadn’t been to the lab or seen Mondo and Fizzy since the library incident, so it was a welcome surprise when he showed up that late afternoon. Tina was happy to see him there.
