Chapter 16Fizzy walked through the park on her way back from the convenience store. Although it was dark out, street lamps lit the way along the sidewalks. The expansive 125-acre park was full of small hills and walkways. There were baseball diamonds, picnic areas, playgrounds, and a man-made lake. She carried a bag full of energy drinks and snacks that Mondo affectionately called the hacker grab bag. She was surprised to find Carter sitting alone on a bench.
