Chapter 60The noonday sunlight illuminated the college library through its large windows. Carter slowly ascended the main stairs in the empty building. He carefully watched his steps to avoid tripping on his graduation gown. As he reached the third floor, he stopped and looked around. He casually walked through the center of the expansive room and headed toward the long set of windows on the far side.
