There once was a science fiction web series created by an artistic group of friends. I had the fortunate opportunity to write the scripts. It was a continuation and spinoff of an earlier short film we had made that was an homage to The X-Files and inspired by the Phoenix Lights.
Our original series was a passion project that produced one volume of nine episodes in 2010. Unfortunately, the cliffhanger at its end became dramatic not only in its storytelling, but also in the real-world equivalent of our inability to continue the show due to monetary and mental cost, and other lovely things that Life provides. My ideas for future seasons and stories had to be stored away.
