As I crept through the grasses I thought back to the few days at Alpha School. Sir had asked if I would return for the week before graduation next year, which I accepted. It was pretty fun and it gave me a chance to evaluate the future alphas I would work with. They invited us to stay for the graduation but we had to deal with all the s**t surrounding Lincoln.
I felt a little guilty as I sniffed the air and turned slightly to the left. Xander would not like it if he found out what I was doing.
We had hoped there would be more deserters from Crooked Rock, but none had shown up and we needed more information. The end of the month was in ten days and the phrase “end of the month” was quite vague.
